I went to jumu’ah yesterday at the university’s Islamic society. It’s the only equivalent of a mosque anywhere nearby (i.e., for anything else, including an actual mosque, you have to drive an hour each way). There’s no imam, just members who take it in turns to deliver the khutbah and lead the prayers.

Have such conflicted feelings about the term “——- is mine” like in a relationship context.
